Xing is used by people from more than 190 countries but still the majority of users are Germans. At the moment the available languages are German, English, Italian, Spanish, French, Finnisch, Swedish, Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, Hungarian and Turkish.
Actually it has 6.14 million members (Status: June, 2008).

Before beeing renamed in Xing it was called openBC (business club).

Due to our information Xing went online in august 2003 and was founded by Lars Hinrichs. But if you have some other information that have other dates of founding Xing let us know!
